How does it work?
We use the phone number provided to us in Profile settings to notify you whenever we see a physical card transaction.
Detailed workflow overview
The second you swipe your card, we will send you a text message that the transaction has been approved
Reply with a picture of the receipt
You have a 10-minute window to reply to our approval message with a picture of your receipt. If you don't reply with a picture of the receipt within 10 minutes after the transaction, we will still process your receipt, but instead of matching it to the last transaction, we upload it into your receipt inbox for later matching
We process your receipt and initiate an OCR scan of its contents, when that happens, you will see the message "Your receipt is in safe hands. Hold tight while we review it!". At the OCR stage we extract the following data from your receipt
Finally, if you replied in the 10-minute window after the transaction confirmation message, we automatically match your receipt to the most recent transaction + it will show in your receipt inbox later in the Matched tab.
