What does it mean to file a dispute?
Float cardholders have the right to dispute a credit card charge, whether it was posted in error, fraudulent in nature, or if the merchant didn't provide satisfactory goods or services. We can only file disputes for transactions within 90 days of the original transaction date.
How to file a dispute?
- Lookup the card that has the fraudulent charge on it
-
Fill in our Disputes Document Form (located at the bottom of this page to download). Please ensure the disputes are all filed in the same document with all the information.
-
Send all dispute forms to support@floatcard.com - please note, we will need your dispute form filled out to include each transaction separately.
-
Please cancel your card if this is suspected fraud. We will take it from here and go through the disputes process.
Please note disputes can take up to 90 days, and are not guaranteed to win in your favour, we highly recommend you cancel your card if you suspect fraud. Not cancelling the card will usually end up in losing the disputes case.
