How to enable automatic funding

Automatic funding enables Float to automatically top-up your account when it falls below a certain level. This adds convenience and peace of mind that your cards will always be able to transact without you needing to monitor your account funding level.

To enable automatic funding, click 'Settings' in the bottom right corner of either your CAD or USD account. Toggle the automatic funding button to the 'On' position. Then enter the amount you would like automatically transferred and the threshold below which the transfer will be initiated.

Not sure how much to transfer? We suggest you transfer in the amount your business typically spends over 10 days.

Not sure how much to keep in your Float balance? We suggest you set your minimum Spending Power to be the amount your business typically spends over a 5 day period.

Important to note that these transfers take 1-3 business days (usually 3) to complete, so please ensure you are topping up enough.
