At Float, we offer two pricing plans, the Essentials Plan and the Professional Plan.
- The Essentials Plan is ideal for small companies with <10 employees
- The Professional Plan is our most popular plan for scaling or larger businesses.

✅ Does the Professional Plan have a free trial?
Yes, all new customers can take advantage of a 60-day free trial on the Professional Plan. This will be automatically applied if you select the Professional Plan upon signup. Please reach out to support@floatcard.com if you have any questions.
✅ How am I charged for the Professional Plan?
If you are on the Professional plan, your monthly fee will be taken directly from your Float balance on the first of each month.
💡 If you upgrade mid-month, your pro-rated fee will be taken directly from your Float balance on the date of upgrade, and subsequent monthly fees will be taken from your Float balance on the first of each month.
You will see the charge on your monthly statement and funds will be deducted automatically from your Float Balance. You can access your Float statement here!
✅ What are some reasons I might want to upgrade my Plan to Professional?
If you're finding that the Essentials plan is not meeting your businesses needs, you may want to reach out to our team for an upgrade. Common reasons that our customers prefer the Professional Plan include:
🔥Access to key team management features, such as Teams and Approval Policies
🔥Access to Reporting and Insights (Pro Feature only!)
🔥Need for more physical cards
✅ How do I upgrade my plan?
If you're finding that you are in need of upgrading to get more cards, access to key Pro features, or just to try it out, you can upgrade your plan at any time.
To do so, email your account manager or support@floatcard.com. In most cases when you upgrade from Essentials > Professional you will be billed immediately for a prorated amount. Subsequent billing will be on the 1st of every month.
✅ How do I downgrade my plan?
If you're finding that the Professional Plan is not to your liking, you can downgrade your plan at any time. To do so, email your account manager or support@floatcard.com with your business name and the reason for the downgrade.
Our team will immediately assist in your downgrade. Additionally, you will be refunded on a pro-rated basis for the remainder of the month, and will not be charged for future months!
✅ Where can I find my billing details and invoices?
To find your monthly billing details, navigate to floatcard.com and head to Settings > Billing. If you would like to download an invoice or view previous monthly charges, this will be the best place to find this information!
