Business change all the time, and sometimes that means removing past employees from your Float account! No worries on this front, Float has made the process to delete past employees from your account easy! Follow the steps below to remove users today!
Please Note: Deleting users in Float can only be done by Administrators and Primary Administrators
🖊️ How to Delete a User:
- Head to the 'Users' page in Float by navigating from the sidebar on the Float home page, or click the link here to be sent to this page: https://app.floatcard.com/users
- Find the user you wish to make changes to using the search bar at the top of the page!
- Click 'Delete' under the 'Actions' Column
- Select the user you wish to merge all account data with. (This will preserve any historic transactions and any Active virtual cards from the account deletion)

❓Deleting your Own Account as a Spender?
If you're no longer a part of the company, or just won't be using Float and want to remove yourself from the team on the account. Please contact your Administrator to have them follow the instructions above.
❓Deleting your Own Account as an Admin?
Administrators cannot delete their own accounts within Float. If you wish to terminate your Float account, please reach out to your Primary Admin to have them follow the steps outlined above!
❓Deleting your Own Account as a Primary Admin?
If you are the Primary Admin for your Float account and will be leaving the company and/or want to transfer the ownership of the Float account to another user, please follow the steps below:

Please note any and all account deletions are final and cannot be undone. Please do not delete your account unless certain it is no longer needed. Please also delete any duplicate accounts created using an alias (ie email@example.com instead of firstname.lastname@example.org)
